REVIEW : Diamond Candles

Review time!  Just what are we taking a look at this time, Skeddio?  I'm glad you asked!  I just recently went a little crazy having noticed that Diamond Candles was having a sale of 45% off any candle they sell, and well, I ended up spending almost eighty dollars on candles.  Oops?  I've purchased these candles in the past, and they are made with wonderful quality, and well worth the twenty-five to twenty-eight dollar price tag.

Now you might be cringing over the price, but let me explain the cost!  They're made with soy wax, and you get hours of use out of them.  The bonus?  Each candle contains a ring.  When I first purchased the rings, the candles themselves contained a ring that could be just a simple costume jewelry ring worth $10, but a few contained rings worth anywhere from a hundred to five thousand dollars.  Now, out of the candles I've had, I've only found the cheap end of the rings, but with the exception of two of the rings, they've all been really pretty.

4 of 5 rings that I've gotten from the candles.  Top two are not exactly lovely.

The company has, however, redone the way they do the ring give away and now every ring in every candle is a ten dollar ring, and it either contains a little slip of paper with a code that you can enter, or a simple phrase to brighten your day.  I really prefer the old way, simply because you didn't know what you were going to uncover, now it's like, well I know I got a ten dollar ring.  Either way, I'm still excited to have these candles in my possession, even my fiance will light them and let them burn.

Pomegranate Lemonade* - Super fruity, and maybe almost too fruity.  It smells good, but every time I burn it I can't help but think it smells like Lifesaver Gummies.  I was just really hoping it would be more lemon.  Definitely wouldn't buy again, though.
Orchid Meadow* - Thumbs up, definitely.  Floral and soft, at least to me.
Honeysuckle* - Absolutely awesome, smells just like it was described and so far, the only one we actually burned the entire thing away of.
Relax and Revive* - This one wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't what I had hoped for.  I bought it because it mentioned lemon and lime, and I just didn't get the pop of citrus I wanted out of it.
SummertimeThis was the first one I bought, and the description that it had, I just didn't get what I wanted out of it.  I know the smell I was hoping for, and this just wasn't even close to it.
Sweet Vanilla Oak - This smells absolutely awesome, though it is on the sweeter side, I was hoping for more woodsy of a smell.
Bamboo Bliss - This is hands down the strangest smell of all the candles I ordered this time.  I more than likely will be throwing this one in the bathroom since it has more of a spa smell.
Winter Festival - This has a really peculiar smell to it, I enjoy it though.
Lavender Lace - This smells wonderful.  To me, it's not super lavendar, but smells more like a lavender scented laundry detergent.  Love it.
Agave LimeThis definitely has a lime kick to it, but still not the lime I'm looking for.  Still can't wait to burn this one!

I've missed a couple of the candles that I really wanted to get my hands on, and I'm hoping they'll return to their lineup soon.  I managed to smell a Vanilla Lime that my friend bought, and I really wanted it, but alas, it's currently out of stock and not listed in their store.  I also really wanted to try Puddle Jump, just because of the description, but it's gone, too.  Hopefully though, it will come back!
